This web page covers my second three month sailing trip. This one was Portland, Maine to Chesapeake City, Virginia.
I did not keep sailing log and this page, and the ones that follow are written more than year after the trip was concluded, so its a little short on details. The trip was however broken up into the following segments:-
Portland to Boston
Boston to New York
New York to Annapolis
A side trip up the Potomac and back
Annapolis to Chesapeake City
I left home on the 29th of April and returned 9th July 2018. The boat started on the hard and has finished on the hard, just 1800 miles or so from where it started. The crew that joined me were, Dennis Starkey, Dave Rothgeb, and Patrick Ross. All three were good enough sports to put up with me and it was always a sad time when they had to leave. Each one made major contributions to the enjoyment of making this trip.
